Required service work:
- Engine -oil and filter change
- Catch hinge inspection
- Water drain inspection

- Parking brake adjustment
- Correct tire inflation pressure (in spare tire where applicable)
- Inspect condition of poly V-belt (C, CL, CLS, E, GL, M, S, SL, SLK)
- Replace brake fluid (C, CL, CLS, E, SL, SLK)
- Replace dust filter (C, CL, CLS, E, SL, SLK)
- Replace fuel filter (E, GL, M, R)
- Catch hinge inspection
- Inspect major components for possible damage/ leakage (C, CL, CLS, E, G, GL, M, R, S, SL, SLK)
- Visual inspection of axle ball joints, driveshaft, steering mechanical components, rubber boots (C, CL, CLS, E, G, GL, M, R, S, SL, SLK)
- Replace rear axle differential fluid (for models with AMG spec) (C, CLS, E, SL)
- Replace air filter (C, CL, CLS, E, G, GL, R, S, SL, SLK)
- Joint housing of AWD grease inspection (G, M, R)
Fluid level inspection:
- Engine cooling system inspect
- Coolant level check
- Brake system check
- Power steering inspection
- Windshield washer system inspection
- Active body control checks
- Differential lock mechanism fluid reservoir inspection
- Main or starter battery
- Transfer case, front and rear axle inspection (G, GL, M, R, S)
- Antifreeze (S)
Function check:
- Audible warning system
- Electric-hydraulic brake system inspection
- Replace wiper blades
- Check parking brake (C, CL, CLS, G, GL, M, R, SL, SLK)
- Replace wiper blades
- Differential/ transfer case lock mechanisms
Electrical system checks:
- Horn, high beam flasher, hazard warning flasher, turn signals
- Warning/ indicator lamps, illumination and interior lighting/ exterior lighting
- Check trunk/ cargo area lighting
- Battery condition checks
- Headlamp setting (C, CL)
Visual and functional checks:
- Windshield washer and headlamp cleaning system
- Clean and lubricate hard top seals
- Camera assist checks
- Check seat belts and buckles for signs of damage and proper function (C, CL, CLS, E, SL, SLK)
- Inspect and clean Night View Assist camera (CL, S, SL, SLK)
- Lubricate door locks (G, GL)
- Lubricate sliding mechanisms (R, S)
Tire checks:
- Tire rotation
- Tire damage inspection
- Tire sealant checks
- Tire monitoring system activation
- Inspect sealant expiration date (CL, CLS, E, SLK)
Chassis checks:
- Check brake system components, lines, hoses, callipers
- Brake pads and disks inspection
- Check chassis and load-bearing body components for signs of damage (C, CL, CLS, E, G, GL, M, R, S, SL, SLK)
- Visual inspection of brake system components, lines, hoses, calipers (R, S)
